Bredesen (Brett) Lewis was born and raised in New York City. He received a BA with honors at McGill University, an MSc at the London School of Economics, and an MBA and MA at the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Leonard Lauder and Philip Whitcome Scholar. Brett began his career at Bain & Company where he worked in private equity and tech and telecomm. Brett then pursued a lifelong passion for the social sector and moved to San Francisco to work for the Bridgespan Group, a nonprofit consulting firm, where he worked with charter schools and the federal government. At Wharton, Brett worked in venture capital in Brazil at Monashees Capital and published a book, 50+ Successful Wharton Business School Essays. He is a director at Skillbridge, a platform connecting companies and investors with high-caliber professionals around the world for a fraction of the price it would normally cost to access that level of talent.
