Carrington B. Davis, CEO at Philanthropic Cultural Expressions in Washington, D.C., is a graduate of Howard University with a BA in economics, a Wharton MBA, an MPA from the University of Southern California and a former engineer officer in Vietnam. After leaving Wharton in 1972, he joined KPMG in D.C. His career in economic development began with the DC Development Corp. He later served as president of the Anacostia Economic Development Corp., executive director of the National Dental Association, director of physical and economic development for the Marshall Heights CDO and as manager of economic and physical development for the Tennessee Valley Center for Minority Economic Development in Memphis. His clients include the National Urban Coalition, the DC Private Industry Council, the A.J.P. Gallery of Baltimore and the Booker T. Washington Public Charter School for Technical Arts. He is published in the Wharton Journal, Washington Post, Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Baltimore Sun, and the Afro-American Newspapers.
