Drew Keeling is a historian and writer living near Zurich, Switzerland. He earned a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University prior to his MBA studies at Wharton, and then worked in banking and finance in the United States and Europe before completing a Ph.D. in history at the University of California, Berkeley. In an earlier form as his Ph.D. dissertation, his book The Business of Transatlantic Migration Between Europe and the United States, 1900-1914 was awarded the Alexander Gerschenkron Prize of the Economic History Association.
