Senthil Veeraraghavan

Assistant Professor of Operations and Information Management
Senthil Veeraraghavan is an Assistant Professor in the Operations and Information Management Department at the Wharton School. His research expertise centers in Service Operations, Sourcing, and Supply Chain Management. In his current research, he models consumer decisions in queuing and revenue management settings, by analyzing how consumers wait, and/or delay their decisions, based on the information available in the market. Much of his research underlines how such consumer choices impact firms’ operational strategies in surprising ways. His research papers have appeared in Management Science, Operations Research, and Manufacturing and Service Operations Management. He has advised and worked with a variety of firms including local non-profit organizations, symphony orchestras, a professional baseball franchise, governmental agencies, and technology firms on their operational and revenue management strategies. He holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. He follows the Steelers and the Phillies, and loves visiting U.S. National Parks every year.
