A World of Good in Three Years

The annual Barry & Marie Lipman Family Prize recognizes organizations that create sustainable solutions to global social and economic challenges. Each year’s winner earns a $125,000 cash award, and all finalists enjoy an ongoing partnership with Penn—a relationship that begins when University staff, faculty and students from across disciplines meet and judge entrants. Since its launching in 2012 with a multimillion-dollar gift from Barry Lipman, W’70, the prize has amplified the efforts of nine finalists.
